Eden ASP is a fork of the Eden code base that was established in 2021.
Unlike the original Eden project, the ASP fork is not intended for self-deployment by user organizations, but rather as a reduced-complexity foundation for professional teams to build and maintain their own, specific applications and services ecosystems.
Eden ASP has become an open project in 2024, with a loose community of implementing organizations and support teams in Germany, Sweden and Poland. The code base is public, under the terms of the MIT open source license.
Features
Eden ASP retains much of the functionality of the original Eden, albeit with fewer alternatives and options. Its central focus is around the management of assistance to individual beneficiaries (case management) with a broad range of support modules – and on leveraging core strengths like multi-tenancy and support for distributed, multi-role processes.
