The Sahana Software Foundation do our utmost to prepare for more resilient communities worldwide by making high quality information management systems for emergency preparedness, response, recovery and resilience-building accessible to all.
This work would not be possible without the generous support and advice of community members. Let me therefore take this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation for the support and assistance of all, followed by my sincere wishes for a Happy and Prosperous Year 2017 for you selves and those you care for.
Yours sincerely,
Martin Thomsen

Happy and Prosperous New Year to you too Martin and all the friends and families of the Sahana community. Big kudos to our President: Devin for reforming Sahana with new ways in how we govern, operate and engage. 2017 is a prime number and hope it serves as a prime year for us!
Last year, 2016, primarily AidIQ and Spot-On served SSF in deploying Sahana software in the Philippines, Myanmar, and Maldives; particularly 2 parallel projects in the Philippines. Work began on the a new Sahana First Response template, with a rendition of it to be possibly deployed in the State of WA, USA. I hope we continue this momentum this year and bring in new projects and new blood to the community.
