  1. Hi! I wish I could join the Sahana camp but I’ve only learned about it last week and I’m from the Philippines. I will be working soon for the Philippine Red Cross and I want to learn how to use Sahana effectively for disaster management operations. I believe this software can really help us manage our team here.

Will the camp be recorded on video? Is there a way to get a copy of the video through your website? I really want to learn how to use the software and I’m also excited with the coming of Mayon.

  2. Hi Pinky–

I’m really glad you’re excited about learning about Sahana software. While we are not streaming SahanaCamp LA, we are going to be recording some of the sessions and they will be made available on our website soon. Also, all of the presentations and materials used during the SahanaCamp will be available next week on our slideshare site at

We have just completed a Sahana Eden Essential Guide as part of the Google Documentation Summit. You can access the guide here:

We also are hoping to hold several more SahanaCamps in the next year at different locations around the world. We’ll make sure to announce them far in advance.

Keep watching our website for more news and information to help support organizations wishing to deploy Sahana Software.

    Best regards,
